The Moonlovers zijn...

The Moonlovers are...

These three obstinate musicians tackle a tremendous variety of musical styles. With ease they switch from Elvis into James Brown, Rolling Stones into Miles Davis, AC/DC into Soft Cell and from Talking Heads into Prince...

They don't play covers, they play with covers!!

Singer-guitarist Jan Blieck reveals himself as a marvellous entertainer and takes you on an interesting trip through his vast and fascinating repertoire. His Siamese twin brother drummer-showman Gino Campenaerts always knows exactly where the frontman is heading while Diego sticks the two of them together with his harmonious double bass. These are three homely fellows who always succeed in absorbing their audiences in the utter fun of playing and enjoying music. Thanks to their compact and mobile concept, they’ll fit into any room or environment. So it doesn’t really come as surprise that they’ve had lots of success in the streets of Copenhagen, in exquisite castles or grimy pubs, at boozed rock festivals or extravagant Italian street festivals, in saloons or stuck-up cultural centres, at garden parties or maybe in the future … in your bedroom??? We are not an ordinairy cover band...
